BIOS Reconfiguration

If a reconfiguration of the BIOS settings is needed (e.g. enable or disable hyper-threading), please open a ticket to the CERN cloud team via the Service Portal. The Cloud team will then assist you to find the best way to apply the needed change.

While users have access to the BMC credentials and therefore to the console of physical instances, going via the Cloud team for these changes is recommended to prevent unintended damage from the provided physical machines. Equally, when many nodes are affected, the Cloud team may assist with more efficient ways to perform such changes than connecting to the graphical console of each node.
